What a beautiful month this has been. I celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving with 15 friends. It was delicious and so much FUN!
We are having an extended Indian summer which is so beautiful. I hope it continues for a while before our winter rains begin.
I received a compelling message from Source that all of us who are called to do so need to pray that the enormous pressure within our Earth be neutralized because it is pressing intensely against the fault lines. Some words you might use if they feel right to you:
"Beloved Source, I ask that you neutralize and gently remove the pressure inside of our beloved Earth that is pushing against her fault lines, up and down the Pacific Coast and everywhere around the globe, with all my love, respect, admiration and gratitude. Please take that energy to the Light realms for its own healing process to be brought to the Oneness of All That Is. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And so it is. Blessed be."
Thank you to so much for any help you are Guided to give.
In India, about 500 years before the common era, Buddha began to teach a philosophy of life. Buddha told his students, "the faults of others are easier to see than one's own; the faults of others are easily seen, for they are sifted like chaff, but one's own faults are hard to see. Do not look at the faults of others, or what others have done or not done; observe what you yourself have done and have not done."
About that same time, over a thousand miles to the east of India, Confucius began to teach his Chinese students a similar philosophy of life. His students were known as the People of the Ren (The People of Love). Confucius instructed them in the attainment of chung-shu. Chung was the practice of self-knowledge.
If a Person of the Ren shot an arrow and it missed the target, they would not blame the arrow or the wind, they explored their own skill. If others did not respect them, they did not judge, they examined meticulously their own ability to respect others. If they did not feel loved, rather than criticize, they explored their own ability to love others. This practice of self-awareness took many years.
When Confucius was satisfied that the student had achieved humility and self-awareness through the study of chung, only then would he commission them to go into the world and love others with empathy and compassion using the ancient art of healing known as shu.
In 1945, twenty five hundred years later, two peasants living in the Naj Hammadi region of Egypt discovered a collection of ancient manuscripts known as the Nag Hammadi Library. These Gnostic gospels, written in the second and third century, contain thirteen codices, or books, comprised of fifty-two texts. One of those texts is known as the Gospel of Thomas.
In saying 24 of the Gospel of Thomas, Yeshua tells his disciples, "There is light within an enlightened person, and it shines on the whole world."
In sayings 26 and 27 Yeshua continues, "If you do not fast from the world, you will not find the kingdom. You see the speck that is in your companion's eye, but you do not see the beam that is in your own eye. When you take the beam out of your own eye, then you will see well enough to take the speck out of your companion's eye". This teaching is also found in Matthew 7:3 and again in Luke 6:41.
This fundamental teaching from the Gospels is essentially identical to the teachings of the Buddha and Confucius -- and other spiritual teachings that are even earlier in the history of mankind. All of these great spiritual teachings were grounded in the same fundamental Divine Truth.
The journey toward compassion and love must begin with self-knowledge, and profound self awareness.
To actually love others, we must understand and then transmute our extensive ego beliefs, opinions, certainties, assumptions, fears, desires and prejudices.
It is our own ego that creates our sense of separation that leads to judgment. This sense of separation that results in 'us versus them', or 'me versus you' thoughts, words and actions. All unhappiness, misunderstandings and conflict has its roots embedded in the fertile ground of this ego-created feeling of separateness.
The shift we must undergo is to integrate the peace that passes all understanding, free-floating joy, Divine compassion and unconditional love into our own hearts. It will then emanate outward into the world as naturally as rain falls from the sky and flowers turn toward the sun. This is sacred and holy work.
When we blame others for the conflict and unhappiness we feel, and then frantically search for love, peace or happiness externally in the world, we are chasing an illusion. If we are to become People of Love, our journey begins by looking within and healing ourselves. It is only when we have done this work that we become capable of shu, emanating unconditional love consistently no matter what illusion we might be facing.
When we expect to be loving and compassionate without first doing our own inner work, we are chasing an illusion.
"Wisdom teaches: Healer, heal thyself."
Authentic spirituality is a middle path journey that comes only with deep self-knowledge and self-awareness. This journey requires the courage to learn and practice the path of self-awareness.
This means we understand and acknowledge that the people in our lives who make us angry, hurt our feelings, or make us unhappy are giving us great gifts of insight -- if we choose to look. They are pointing the way to the middle path by challenging us to react, to reveal to ourselves where we need to heal. Through this process they provide us the opportunity for authentic spiritual growth.
When we do our inner work, we soon discover that we are already profoundly loved, that we already possess all the joy in the universe, that we already have everything we need and then some. We know that no one can take this away from us because we no longer seek our love, acceptance or power from sources external to ourselves.
We are congruent with our authentic inner Source of Love. We find ourselves walking the middle path with the Holy Spirit of God. We have become the wave integrated with the ocean, the droplets falling within the waterfall.
Such a person is called enlightened.
We live happily within the unfolding abundance of the Universe. The Light that emanates from the center of our being evokes great love and compassion all around us. We are an integral part of the great shift to Love that is happening now.
And so it is.
I began studying Dancing with Source in 2007. In the very first session, Ashley asked three questions:
Many of the participants had profoundly beautiful answers, but I found myself constricting intensely and when it was my time to answer, I blurted, "I don't know why I'm here. I'm not sure God exists. If he does, I'm really angry at him."
I will never forget the calmness with which Ashley picked up her dowsing tool and said, "Thank you for modeling activation for us, Paula (which she had just explained to us a few minutes earlier). Would you like to release this?"
I said, "I don't even know what this is. It's embarrassing and it hurts. If you think you can do something about it, please do."
A few moments later, the intensity I had been feeling simply melted away. I was amazed. It was gone. Absolutely gone. I thought, "I have to learn this work."
But life had other plans for me.
I had been going through a very difficult time for about a year and a half. After having a very successful organizational development consulting and coaching career, I was suddenly unable to manifest the level of client work that I needed. I was at risk of losing my home. I felt lost and alone. I wanted desperately to change my life but I didn't know how to go about it.
That shifted immediately after I began studying DWS. The healing Ashley and Source did with me was my specific wake-up call. Suddenly, my life began to change on ‘fast forward’. I reconnected with the first love of my life and we were amazed to discover that our love for one another was as strong as it had been 40 years earlier. He lived in the Pacific Northwest.
We had a beautiful courtship. He was in a marriage that was not satisfying or sustainable. He asked her for a divorce. It took quite a while for the divorce to come through. This was a vulnerable time for me; however, through my DWS studies, I had uncovered a wellspring of deep courage in myself that I had forgotten I had. I rented my home, moved in with this wonderful man who was now my fiance, and we both experienced deep love and partnership. That was 4 years ago. It has only increased since then. That is the reason I have not - yet - completed my DWS studies.
When I asked for a change, I had no idea the waterfall of miracles that awaited me. I am grateful beyond words to Source, to Ashley, to this wonderful man that I finally married, -- and to myself, for having the courage to allow love to unfold in my life.
Through the workshops offered in the DWS mystery school, all are empowered to identify incongruencies with Highest Good & congruencies with what is not, create clear two-way communication with the Divine & transform past lives, trauma, disempowering genetic & behavioral inheritances through family bloodlines, disempowering core beliefs, karmic, mental, emotional & egoic patterns, programs, attachments, fragmentation of soul, personality & separation from Spirit, identification & removal of Dark Teachers & implants, as well as dynamic relationship work with the archetypes, concepts, ideas, people, places & things that hold us back from moving into our Light Bodies.
When we clear these & other 'buggy code' from our field we become progressively able tohold more Light & can be of greater service in the uplifting of human consciousnessin preparation for the Ascension.
We do this through advanced energetic healing workshops, private sessions, speaking engagements, and spiritual retreats in partnership with Source, the Archangels, Ascended Masters, and All Beings of Light.
