A Karmic Pattern

Last month I showcased the work of April Blake and recognized the many gifted healers in various modalities who helped me restore my health and heal from chronic fatigue.

In early July, I visited Santa Fe with three DWS graduates. While we were there, my friends gave me a very deep healing session.

After that session was completed, I retired to my room. Source said, "Now you are finally ready to let go of some very traumatic past lives that you have kept buried within the layers of your being for many lifetimes. The theme of this karmic pattern in your emotional body is religious persecution. I moaned. My intuition said this pattern was indeed very deeply buried and that my bio-energetic body might not be able to give it up easily.

The first was a past life in 1250AD in Spain during the time of the Inquisition. I was an herbalist and did various other forms of healing work to help folks who lived in my vicinity. The kind of work I did was frowned upon by the Inquisition. I was arrested.

I experienced very clear recall of this deeply traumatic life experience, so much so that I had to call upon the angels from the four directions to help me persevere as I focused on what Source was showing me to help me release.

I had five male Inquisitors, robed in black and hooded. They put me on the rack for six days. The reason it took that long to break me was that each day when I would pass out and could not be revived, they would stop until the next day.

Early in the process one of them said, "You blaspheme the name of God by your work. It is unholy."

Even though I was on the rack, I pulled myself together and in a loud voice said, "My work does not blaspheme the name of God. YOU do that and so does the Inquisition. You would be well advised to stop what you are doing and do what you can to make amends."

They made it their focus to break my body and to try to break my spirit. At the end of six days of extreme torture they had me thrown into a dungeon where I slowly starved to death. I did not encode anger at God or even at them. I encoded anger towards myself for overlooking the signs that could have caused me to leave my home and move to a place of safety outside the reach of the Inquisition.

When Source cleared this, I felt an immense release.

Source then immediately took me to the next lifetime in the early 1600s. I was male in this life and owned land which my sons and I farmed. We were beleaguered by religion persecution. I had apparently learned my lesson in the previous life because I sold my land and my family and I immigrated to America.

To my dismay when I arrived, we experienced another form of religious persecution. We moved further inland away from people who were behaving in this manner and settled some land. I became very introverted. While I would help my neighbors -- who were few and far between -- I was truly close only to my family members.

For the remainder of that life I was satisfied; however, the deeply held trauma and karmic pattern stored in my emotional body needed to be released for the sake of my health. When Source completed this work I felt like a different person, much more relaxed and as if some internal pressure was no longer part of my reality.

There were more lifetimes that Source worked with me to clear that night but I did not need to know the stories. I felt the energetic shifts as they released but was able to relax into a gentle rest. Based on what Source has told me, all of my past lifetimes and the accumulated trauma that contributed to building this karmic pattern have been healed as well as the pattern itself.

It never ceases to interest me to observe the links between our emotional responses to trauma, whether in our past or present lives, and our current health and well-being.

I continue to be deeply grateful to Source for bringing the DWS work to Earth through me. Source has shown me how different I am today than I was five years ago when the downloads began in earnest. I live in a state of constant gratitude. With all my heart I wish this level of freedom to every human being.

My Story

To respect the privacy of my husband I requested that this article not reflect my name. I hope you all understand.

George is a very kind, loving man who has been a wonderful husband to me for the past 35 years. There was just one aspect of him that was very challenging to live with: his protectiveness toward me. If I would leave him to go have lunch with a girlfriend, see a movie, or just go shopping by myself, his anxiety level would skyrocket. By the time I returned, he would be truly beside himself.

A friend referred me to Ashley. I called and asked if she had ever heard of anything like this. She said, "Yes, I've had a similar experience myself many years ago. Unfortunately I didn't know then what I know now so I was not able to be of assistance to that person."

My heart relaxed. I thought, "Oh, my goodness, there is hope." I made a phone appointment with her for the following week.

She explained a little about the work but basically got right down to business. It turned out that George and I lived together before as husband and wife several hundred years ago. He left me at home while he took a trip to take care of some business. While he was gone, crusaders came through our town, ransacked it, raped many women -- although I was spared that -- and murdered all the townsfolk who could not get away in time. I was one of those who died.

This created such trauma in my husband of that lifetime and such a deep imprint in his subconscious mind that it affected our life together in this lifetime.

When Ashley and Source finished clearing the past life with George and me, I felt a deep shift in energy: much lighter. She was then Guided to do a sequence of other processes that included clearing patterns in the emotional body locked in place by attachments in the ego body, opposite pairs which releases samsara (the cycle of birth and rebirth) on this topic, and several more.

As I drove home, I felt as if something had released and shifted inside of me. I felt great curiosity to see what -- if anything -- had shifted in my husband. When I arrived home he was reading the newspaper. He did not appear anxious. Remarkably he didn't exhibit any of the behaviors I was used to seeing that suggest stress. I prayed, "Please God, don't let this be a fluke."

Over the next week I made it my business to do things outside our home that previously caused him to have a severely anxious reaction.

No reaction occurred.

My husband was different. I never brought this up to him. He seemed unaware of how much he had changed. I saw no possible gain in discussing it with him since it was no longer an issue.

That was two years ago. This change has been sustained. Our lives are different, much more relaxed and peaceful. And I am very grateful.
