Connection to Source

I am in dialogue with many people over the course of a given week. It is interesting to me to notice how few are directly connected to Source and speak Divine Truth from that place of Light.

So many are connected to the Pain Body that Eckhart Tolle wrote about in The New Earth. With that connection they speak sincerely, in many cases, from their connection to their lower mental body, their ego body, or their wounded emotional body. From that place, they often speak words of helplessness, hopelessness, victim, anger and so forth. Many of their perceptions are couched in denial, making nice, having weak or no boundaries so that they permit, if not encourage, a degrading of Who They Really Are.

The solution is to connect ever more strongly and deeply to the Light through meditation and prayer. There are so many ways to do both. For me, what I call 'prayer' is a completely informal, honest conversation with Source. Because I believe it is absolutely possible to hear the Voice, I allow it and receive it.

Source is extremely funny at times and has many ways of communicating with me. I am no different than everyone else on the planet. We all have this ability to connect in two-way conversation with Source (as well as the Archangels and Ascended Masters, if we choose).

Whenever we are speaking with Source (and the other High Beings of Light), we are always filled with peace, clarity and wisdom. If we are not, we are connecting to our Pain Body. If that happens, simply say with deep feeling and commitment, "I want only to hear the Voice of Source. I AM sovereign over my energetic field." Expect to hear from Source.

From THAT connection to Source we think and speak with wisdom, clarity, kindness, courage and strength. Then we able to face whatever is in front of us, name it without judging it and decide whether we wish to have it within our energetic field.

These are the choices that face each one of us every day and define who we are. The ever-changing sum of our choices determines whether we emanate Light or allow darkness to live within us. The truly marvelous thing is that we can choose Light at any time we wish with increasing frequency to the point that the darkness within us is subsumed into that Light.

Now, how beautiful is that?

My Story

I called Ashley at the suggestion of my wife, who had worked with Ashley. I was experiencing some difficulties with co-workers, including my manager, at times. These were causing some pretty severe stress for me that showed up in sleep disturbance, inability to think clearly and sometimes, under extreme stress, to express myself clearly in important meetings.

I pretty much didn't take action on my wife's suggestion until my boss told me my job was in jeopardy.

I really enjoy the work I do. I get to work remotely a lot of the time which I value. Being able to express myself clearly in phone and in person meetings is essential. And, frankly, I needed to reduce my stress which had spiked higher than ever because of the threat of being fired.

I called Ashley to find out what kind of work she did. She was very relaxed and matter-of-fact. After I told her what was going on, she asked Source about it. Imagine my surprise when she said, "This is about your paternal bloodline. Do you remember your father having a similar experience when you were young?"

I scanned back in my memory and, sure enough, when I was five years old my dad used to come home and talk to my mother about his job very similarly to what I had been experiencing -- and he was ultimately fired. This was very traumatic for my family because he was the sole breadwinner and it took him a long time to find another job."

Ashley asked how old my father would have been when I was five. Again I was surprised to realize that he was the same age that I am now.

She said, "We can do this work now if you would like or schedule an appointment." I responded, "I'd really appreciate it if we could work right now."

It turned out this went even further back in my paternal bloodline than my dad. We worked until there wasn't anything else to clear, about two-and-a-half hours.

That night I slept deeply all night long. I felt like a different person, myself again. I no longer had fear about not being able to express myself. It was quite remarkable. Once again I was able to think clearly and express myself well.

Within a few weeks, my boss and I met to discuss my progress. He said, "Steve, I don't know what you did after we spoke, but keep doing it."

To be honest, I'm not sure what Ashley did. She explained it to me but the best I could tell you is that she worked with Source and a few of the people who were my ancestors, including my dad. When their issues were somehow resolved, mine went away.

I may not understand it, but I am very grateful.
